There are no eyewitness accounts of the life of Jesus. The Gospels, probably based on oral tradition, were written between 50 and 90 years after Jesus' death. The earliest writings that have survived about Jesus were written by Paul of Tarsus, who never met Jesus in the flesh.

The people who answer "Matthew, Mark, Luke & John," or "the Apostles" should consider that we have very little assurance as to who actually wrote the texts which have those names. You can believe what you want, but the scholarship on the issue reveals few clues as to the real authors - and there is a LARGE doubt the named folks could be the authors.
One wishes there was at least a modicum of research before peole fire off answers. Even if they consulted church authorities they would find their assumptions are baseless.

In short no biblical scholar worth his/her weight in ink would dare say "Of course we have eyewitness accounts!"

Eyewitnesses reports Of the life of Jesus Christ were written by few inspired writers/people... by the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God acting as messenger of the Almighty Supreme Creator of the Universe) after JC died, went up to heaven, back to God...
The purpose of said inspirations...was to write a book having the exact/truthful events/happennings of the promised Messiah (during Jesus Christ lifetime) with exact accounts, thinkings ,ideas, purpose of said events...to save souls.
That`s the miracle of the said Holy Scriptures, much of great importance because it has the inspired revelations of the existence of the Supreme creator.

There are no eyewitness reports of Jesus Life, the reports we have are hearsay and written by anonymous desert cave dwellers years after the event and these writings were merely attributed to various saints.

The authors of the Bible and Josephus. Perhaps not eyewitness in Josephus' case, however Josephus was a historian at the time and does mention Jesus' existance, and some of his teachings.

There are no written eyewitness reports of Jesus.

Question in return, how do you get eyewitness reports of a mythical character?

Matthew, Mark, and John, his disciples. Luke, the writer of the 4th gospel, was more of an historian.
Beyond the Gospels, Jesus is mentioned in Roman writings at the time....although it's a limited mention.
