Hi Sarah,
I read this book a few years ago and found it very inspiring. I think that traditional, sunday-school type thought has us believe that God only talks to special people, and also that the only text that is God's word is the bible.
In fact there are thousands, millions of ways in which God (or the universe, the light, your angels - whatever you call it) might communicate with you. I found that after reading that book I got very 'in tune' with things and I found guidance and messages for me popping up all over the place.
It made the whole spirituality thing seem a lot more real to me. Enjoy! If it speaks to you, then great. If not there will be something else that will.

I have read the book many times .. i just cant help going back to it
you could say it is like my bible
it is so inspired that i have no doubt about who the true author is
when you read the books by Neale Donald Walsh that are not suggested to be the words of God but his own words ... you can see such a comparison in the writing and the words
whatever your feelings though on whether it is God or not .. i would reccomend everyone read this book . for the inspiration at least
the film is just being released .. i cant wait to see it !

I have read two of them. I found it to be quite interesting. I think it is possible that it is God. Some things in it are different from the Bible which makes it confusing for me, but I did enjoy alot of the aspects of the books.

Hearing voices is a very common delusion. A lot of people attribute it to god or spirits.
