The truth is The Apostles Doctrine ACTS 2:38-44, & as far as hell being temporary, Yes it is, Because in Revelation 20:13-15 And hell gave up the dead & they were Judged & Death & Hell were cast into a lake of fire. I did not write the whole verses.

the truth isnt about what we have been told or how we feel..the truth is, and always will be what it is..it wont change and remains the same untill the end of time...our duty is to find out what that truth is..the way we do that is by not just seraching, but by using our intelligence to understand things for what they are...its only then that when you are told somthing by somone..you wont blindly follow it..you will question and try to understand the source of what that person is telling you..and also you will get a feeling as to what is the truth or not..by reading books and looking on the internet you can find knowledge..but the best way to understand truth and logic is by looking at the world it self...take for instance an apple...whats its purpose? what does it do? nothing most people say..you just eat it...yeah, your right...but why? why does a seed grow into a small plant? why does the plant gorw into a tree and produce loads of apples?when it falls why does more seeds come out? theres a cycle to the apples excistance..but this is the same for the sun, for fish, for stars!! its a big world out there kid!

The hell state you are speaking about are the non perfect conditions mankind has lived in since the garden of eden. It was a wonderful place to live in the beginning....man and woman with a paradise of wonder..so many things to see and feel and taste. They were very happy until a liar talked to them..told them to defy god and disobey....he approached the younger one and she enticed her husband in a way that women do.....instead of trusting that God could replace her..his heart over ruled his mind and he sinned along with her...hence we have to struggle to make a living..struggle through illness and strife and pain and discontent.
BUT Jesus came to earth and offered his perfect self as a ransom price paid to God for us. How loving !
Now we have the chance to live forever as was the original purpose for mankind.
We have an obligation now. To take in knowledge of the Almighty God and his will for us.
Bible reading, bible study, association with his people, and a willingness to do what it takes to get saved.
Hell on earth? Hell is the grave where we go to sleep until the ressurection. But a struggle and discontent on earth? Yes. He that endures to the end is the one who will be saved.

Well, that state is purgatory, where you can work off sins you didn't get taken care of in real life, but know that heaven awaits you at the end

For believers going to Heaven, this life is the closest we will be to experiencing Hell. For non-believers, this life is the closest thing they will have to being in Heaven.

No. There is what you have been taught by man, what you feel to be true, and what God really meant.
