I really want to get with this girl, but my sister doesn't approve of it. My sister is about to be 20. She knows the girl's best friend and tells me about all the stuff that would happen. Not with the girl, but what her best friend would do. I really like the girl, but what my sister has told me about what it could be like cause of the friend. It really messed up my intentions. I never dated so young. Plus I work for a high school. I'f things were to go wrong I guess there is a chance that I could get in trouble at work. The girl is about to be 18 in a couple of weeks though. I wish I could tell the whole story, but I think I summed it up enough to ask what you guys think. I just really want to know what other people think I should do.

wait until she turns 18 but if you thing u would get in trouble at work u should see her in school, probably u could tell her the whole story after she turns 18 and then see how things work....good luck with that

You are a 23 year old young man. You should not be dating a 17 year old girl in high school. Yes, you would get in trouble at work. There are rules about teachers and employees dating students so back off.
I admire her best friend who is trying to protect this young girl. For your sake and hers try to find a teacher or someone else your own age. Leave all young girls alone to get their education and allow them to grow up and gain experience on their own. They do not need the experience of a grown man. Either that or leave the education business all together.

You are really best to wait till she is 18 Be on the safe side and let no one step in the way at that. She is conciderd adult by then. Your sister can't live your life and hun don't let your sister pick who you go out with. You have your own mind and thoughts and youknow how you feel don't let any one tell you who to see or what to do.Live your own life.And what kind of stuff that will happen? I've been through a situation like this with my son and you really need to wait until she's 18yrs old to say anything then she can make up her own. But there's still her parents you need to be respectful about it and inquire how her parents would feel. Because if you work for a school anyway they could really bring thunder on you if they wanted to. So if you really like this girl just wait and see how things work out when she turns 18. Good Luck!

as long as you and the 17 year old aren't doing anything wrong then it's ok to be with her .. especially if she's turning 18 soon. for example what if the girl was 23 and you were 30 ... age difference doesn't really matter.. as long as you guys love each other is what really counts.. follow YOUR heart, not your sister's... give this a try and write me back saying if it worked or not and then tell me the details..

Depends on why you want to get with this girl. Is it because you like her and think she's great to be around, or is it because you think she's just hot and you just want to sleep with her? If you're interested in her as a whole package, wait until she turns 18 before you pursue a relationship. If you just want a lay, leave her alone. She's too young to have to deal with that kind of drama.

Legal age in most states is 17.. but I'd wait to do anything until she's at least 18.

Try dating her outside of school, if you work for a high school keep your relationship on the low... Okay, so you like her, and keep in mind that if her bestfriend is corrupted she'll do anything, and I mean anything!
Keep you and her on the low and advise her not to tell her bestfriend
