theres a guy i like but i havent made a move but a new girl has started and is quite a big flirt and is flirting with him but dont know if its cause he was a)the one who trained her up, b)the only guy she knows in the office as yet or c)sees him as a potential boyfriend

I don't think it means she automatically fancies him. Most people flirt because it's fun and it's a good way of getting along. If someone flirts back and they are on the same kind of wavelength, then it can turn into attraction because it can seem as though you kind of click together. Everyone likes to be around someone who is fun.
A lot of people when they really fancy someone are too nervous worrying about making a good impression to actually flirt with them. I know I can be like that sometimes.
She's probably just having a laugh, either that or she's super confident and relaxed around guys she likes.
Get in there and flirt with him though, show him that you're fun to be around as well.

Most likly it's A or B. At work you tend to need little pick me ups to keep you going during the day and if there's some eye candy that makes it all the better. When I first started my job there was this guy here and he kinda had my attention but I really didn't know if it was that I had a crush or if it was because he was the only young man in the office but when he was fired and I no longer felt the need to communicate with him I realized that it was just a "keep me occupied while at work eye candy". Maybe that's what is going on with this girl. Don't ever assume. I suggest you don't even worry about her and continue to persue him, if you just bow down then he might start liking her. Either way, you should be carefull, work place romances usually never end up good...especially when you have to see their face on a daily basis. Good Luck.

She could just like flirting and have picked him as someone to do it with or she may fancy him, get in there up the game and start flirting with him yourself!!

i would say she is probably just a flirt... as long as they have nothing going your safe to ask him out!... but be careful... if its a job you love, because if things go wrong, it can make work very uncomfortable.
everyone flirts at work... it makes the day go by quicker!
