To get respect from someone you need to give it them also. It has to be 50/50. This applies to women as well. Just because a woman is woman does not mean that she can go around disrespecting men and then expect them to respect her. I think you made a very valid point here and I agree with what your saying. Some woman treat these nice guys like sh*t and then want them to treat them as if their queens. Woman or no woman, if she's not respecting you then she deserves no respect either. The only thing a man should never do is put their hand on a woman. I don't agree with abuse.

A lot of what you preceive is based on the long history of our evolution of society. For the longest time the mistreatment of women had gone on and still does in some cultures. It seems that in our society women feel as though men owe them something for all that they've had to endure. Personally I would welcome the idea of equality in our society, but even that seems foreign to some. For instance, women cannot be drafted into the military if there is a declaration of war. Women are given preferencial treatment in civil litigation i.e. divorce and child custody cases. Finally I think you are generalizing a stereotype a little too much, not all women are abusive to men and vice versa.

I think you should think in a different way,like why should ladies respect guys if guys are not giving them the same.Respect is a behaviour you can see only in humans not in animals,and i beleive in "give respect and take respect".if somebody don't want to respect you ...you cannot force her also...

Men and women should respect each other. If you find respectful women so leave them and do ordinary, don't too nice and don't too rude with them. Give them respect as well as they respect men.
