Is it best to curl micros using regular plug in curlers (chi-ons), hot curlers, etc.

OR

Use hair rods to rod it up with Mousse

OR

Use hair rods and dip them in hot water.

Well, use hair rods if u only want it temporarily. start wet and let them dry on the rollers. If u want permanent curls and it is Kanekone(extension/fake) hair use water. u dont even need rods. U can just dip them or pour boiling water over the braids (get a friend to help!!!!) and then will curl by themselves. U can also make nice waves by braiding a few micro-braids into larger braids and using the boiling water method.

If you have synthetic hair then go with the rods & hot water, if you have human hair then I would suggest a plug on curler w/ a little oil sheen
