It could be several things. If your cat is normally not a loving one, then it very well could be her rubbing on you to make sure she smells like you when you leave. She knows that when you get out of the shower, you don't smell like her anymore, so she feels the need to rub up against you, just in case you come across any other animals, they will know that you are hers by having her scent on you. Or, it very well could be she misses you during the day when you're gone and is trying to tell you before she knows you're supposed to go.

You cat is claiming you as hers, your cat is not affectionate but she is saying you belong to her, (O:
Smell is an extremely important sense in cats, in some cases more than sight. Cats have scent glands on multiple places on their body including their faces and feet. On their face, the glands are located around the eyes, below the ears, and on the chin. By rubbing their face on various objects, such as legs and furniture, they are leaving their scent. Other cats passing the object will often stop and sniff, maybe even rubbing their faces on the object to leave their scent as well.
Scent marks contain molecules called pheromones. Different glands secrete different pheromones which affect a number of behaviors, including reproduction and establishing territory.

It s normal.
Most cats afraid of water and your cat thought u are hurting by water that s why your cat worried of u so much.
It s the cat react that way. Image if u are in plane and at 15,000 feet. If u saw crazy man toward the exit door what would u do? You would lost your mind that is the way of human nature react. Just like pets. You give food, water, bath, plenty of love, and sleep together. Your cat cannot image to live without u and think itself will die. Because your cat dont know how to get love, food, water, warm spot, etc. Poor dogs and cats live in fear so they stay with master very closely. lol.

My goofy dogs do this! Except they try to lick my feet dry and I think it is their way of helping me "groom" myself....you know how animals help to groom each other...your cat is helping you get to water off of you because they hate water so much and he loves you and doesn't want to see you wet! My opinion only but I think he loves you and is trying to help you!

Maybe she likes the smell of your soap.
OR
Since animals can smell water, maybe she needs her water ball refreshed.
