The Ouija Board...Have your heard anything about the dangers of using one? I have heard of a few things, evil, concerning this. ( I do NOT use one, and never would) I just want to know your experiences or thoughts about this, possibly as a warning to others who think it's just a game.

The Ouija Board is a conductor for evil spirits. It's like a doorway. If you open yourself up to them they will take advantage of the opportunity. Ouija boards are not toys. They do work for some people. I will not have one in my house.

The Ouija board is one of the all time best selling board games.
Some will state that one subconscious controls the movement of indicator. Other state that the board is a communication mechanism to the spirit world. Personally, I feel it is akin to a chat room with different users. You may find a helpful being or you may encounter something not so nice. I suggest caution when using these devices. You may encounter something that will not be fun. Read more at the links below.

A Ouija board does NOT work, despite any stories or testimonies you have heard to the contrary. There is a perfectly plausible neurological reason why the indicator would spell out words. An experiment was done on Penn & Teller: Bullshit! where the participants were blindfolded, and, without their knowledge, the board was turned the other way. They again made the indicator go to "Yes" when they asked the "spirit" a question... or at least the spot where "Yes" was SUPPOSED to be.

The Ouija board is a game produced by Parker Bros. It is not a magical device for talking to ghosts. There is nothing evil or supernatural about a Ouija board. It's a goofy game that pre-teens play with one another. Then hopefully they grow up and stop believing in nonsense like ghosts and spirits.

I only have my husband's experience to draw from. He said that he and his sister were 4 and 8 - and remember this was in the early 60's - so not much cursing really around. He said they played the board with their mother. The board spelled out many many curse words - words that they didn't know and his mother certainly did not put on there. It was calling their mother very horrible names - you can only imagine - and he said his mother threw it in the trash. It said she was very unnerved by it and believed it to be evil after that. I believe it too. I have never used one and never plan to. Blessings to you. You are right - It is not just a game - it is opening the door for demons.

I heard of them since a kid, if you use it you can be possessed by evil spirits that can make you do nasty things or go nuts and kill yourself.
It's the creepiest thing I've ever heard and I 've never used it, bit heard of it.
