10 glasses of water
20 points(weight watchers: my remake of it)
30 minutes of vigorous exercise

Will this work for me to lose 20-30 pounds by next year?

It probably would work, but why would you want to remake Weight Watchers? They make it so its a healthy program and if you are eliminating fruits and veggies or the milk, you are defeating your purpose of a healthy diet

Yes the trick to remember is that you are making a lifestyle choice and not dieting. If 30 minutes is to much at first do not give up, even if you start with 10 minutes you'll work up to 30 quickly. Make sure you aren't to stressful especially if you have been not exercising for a while, I lost 40kgs in one year and kept it off and that was with a brisk walk 30 min a day, starting with 10, then 12 then 15 as i slowly became fitter. Be kind to yourself it takes a long time to put on weight and it takes time to remove it. Good Luck!
