I know you don't want to hear this, but I think you should leave this situation alone and move on with life sweetie. It's not right of you to try and get her to dump this boyfriend she has. You don't know how she's feeling about this guy. You say she's not head over heels for this other guy and I'm wondering how would you know that??? If she didn't love this other guy she wouldn't still be there with him after all this time. She would be with you right??? I'm very sure she loves you as a friend and cares for you as well, but she has moved on, and it's not right of you to want them to break up because you want her back. You had your turn and now it's someone Else's. If you two are meant to be together then it will happen no matter what, but for right now you need to move on the best way you can. If you really love her then you would want the best for her and that's including her happiness even if it's not with you.

You can't expect the girl to just dump another person to get back together with you at a snap of a finger. It is only your opinion that she doesn't love this guy. She may in fact have already be over you, and don't want you back in her life. Talk with her, but if she isn't interested in a reunion, move on with your life.

If you really love her, then you should be happy as long as she's happy. You cannot ethically try and get her to dump this other guy, because it has to be her choice... Stay by her side, be her best friend... and if it is supposed to happen, it will.

Doing otherwise is purely selfish.

Do you first think that you personally got to the bottom of what made you two get apart in the first place? If your answer is yes, then try and explain it to her. Ask her if she is truly happy and tell her why you think your relationship will work now. If she is unreceptive, then leave it at that and don't force yourself on her.

Well killer, it doesnt matter if she is head over heals or not. Point is she is with someone. So show some respect and wait.

You tell me:
I want to marry Brad Pitt but he is in another relationship. I don't care how "happy" they are, I just want him for myself. How can I get him to dump her and be mine?
[Not a great analogy, but you are an idiot so it should work.]

If you love her, set her free... If she comes back, then she's all yours... If not, then hunt her down and... er, just let it go...

Seriously though, let her go. It may be painful, but there is no (legal or ethical) way known you can hold on to someone who doesn't want to stay...

Just be her friend. If she is in love with you, she will do what she has to do to be with you. There is nothing you can do to force it. Don't be overbearing or it will push her away.
