try comet they have some fantastic deals at the moment.

Make sure it comes with batteries and a memory card.

Kodak cameras are a very good make and reliable too.

Acer do a reasonable camera at 5 megapixels for less than 100 pounds. My mother in law used hers at our wedding and the pictures were just as good as a film camera, though not as vivid as those taken by my wife's Fuji; but after all the Fuji was a lot more expensive. Comet stock Acer.

Hi, I think the easiest to use with the best picture would be any of the Kodak Easyshare cameras. I got mine on ebay with a printer for $159.00 It's easy to use and easy to print. Not so complicated like other cameras and the pictures are fantastic!

Call me bias but it has to be Sony. Besides that the camera is definitely value for money, it has a host of other assessories that goes with digital imaging. Stylish and User friendly. You buying for your GF right ? Definitely SONy. And dont forget to impress her with digital software that can help her organize and edit her photos. The best part its free and its from google. Its called Picasa download it for free here http://www.geocities.com/lcming/Digitalphotography
