your scalp reaction is not unheard of- I wonder if she maybe tried something different and after the fact doesn't want to admit to it. A good stylist would warn the client up-front so if there was something different in the end product you can let her know so it won't happen the next time. The other thing is most stylist I know write the formula, date and cost of service on a client card- so the next appointment all that info is at hand. If you've gone to this lady for 3 yrs, just ask to see the card if she has it.
The last thoughts are what was already stated, that if your hair was shampooed before the service that could cause the color on the scalp to cause your sores and if you do decide to go to another salon or even stay with the same lady, make sure to go the night before and have them do a skin/patch test just to confirm or deny that this may or may not happen again.
good luck!

Similar thing happened to me (though it affected my entire body). I was using a home dye for several months and suddenly became allergic to it. Sometimes it happens for no reason but most often it is because the manufacturers have changed the ingredients. By law they are not required to inform you of this though they should. I had to go to three doctors before they could tell me what was wrong. I was prescribed Betnovate which helped clear it up in a matter of weeks. If I want to dye my hair in future I will have to seek advice from a doctor or hairdresser. I can't use certain colours and strong shampoos such as anti-dandruff ones still cause problems.

it is normal to get reactions from hair colorants. you will feel an itchy burning sensation on your scalp. you could have experienced an allergic reaction from TOO MUCH coloring or it could be a different reaction not related to your hair coloring. from my experience FRAMESI is the least wanted brand on the market. you can still try coloring your hair with gentler more consumer friendly product like loreal. just do a skin patch test on your forearems and wait for a reaction but i suggest you see a dermatologist and tell her of your history so that you can get a better diagnosis...

Sounds like your stylist left the color on too long and burned your scalp and now doesnt want to do it again in case you sue her. Go to a different hairstylist.

im no hairstylest but i no about allergies.a few years ago i had a very minor surgery in my mouth. they put in novacane and did the surgery. after they were done i was sore and i took advil like i had had a million times before. i developed an allergy for ibeprophin. well your hairstylest is right you developed an allergy. you can try another dye and see if it works you may develop an allergy to all hair dye. it might be the color your allergic to. try a different color. never no.

i would recommend going to a new salon completely so you will be able to have a new product range used on your hair - the dye she uses may still react even though it doesnt touch your scalp. Ask for a patch test prior to ANY hair colours - its law that they give you a patch test anyway!

Sounds like she didn't use the same brand of hairdye on your hair. Or she mixed it wrong or used a brush which did have chemicals on it. I think she has stuffed up! ..
See another hairdresser and seek her opinion. I agree with elaeblue; She doesn't want to risk you taking legal action!

take a bottle with you to a specialist and they can tell you why it has happened. I don't believe that it was the product. I think that the stylist made an error and doesn't want to admit it.

DID U WASH YOUR HAIR BEFORE GOING TO THE SALON? SOMETIMES IF YOU MASSAGE YOUR SCALP BEFORE APPLYING COLOR , BLISTERING USUALLY OCCURS WHEN THE SCALP IS OVER STIMULATED.
