I'm a guy, and this has got to be one of the lamest come-ons I've ever heard of.
Guys have used women's religious convictions throughtout the ages to get what they want from them be it sex, money, or whatever else is available.
Tell him that God told you that you shouldn't change your friendship with him into something romantic.
Better yet, tell him that God told you to stop hanging around him.

he might be in fruitcake mode right now dear. God really doesn't talk to too many people, unless you count the ones who constantly carry large potted plants through the streets, yelling toward the sky about the government watching them.
And anyway, She is wayyyyy too busy to tell this guy to ask you out. He's messing with you to see what happens. He can see you are slightly needy and might want to take advantage of this too. Be careful. And don't give him the chance.

Whether God spoke to him or not, is between him and God. What IS the true problem? Do you despise him for not being absolutely honest about how he feels? Or is it because u feel he tricked you? Maybe he wasn't interested until u confided in him and he fell in love with the real you or maybe God spoke to him. What is omitted from this question is how u feel, do u like him? That is all that matters. It is obvious he likes u. However, u must give him credit for getting to know u... sounds like a good guy, I dont know what your problem is.

He is just playing with your emotions and fine part of your nature . Be alert and do not give a dam on this issue and his words . Please do start ignoring his mails / telephone etc from now onwards for your own happy and promising future . May Almighty blessed you with lots of strength , good luck .

I would be wary, my past girlfriend was much like you and she had inspired a lot of changes in my ways and thinking and living but to say God has told me to date you is questionable. Give him a shot if your interested in him but be careful. If his motives shift or attempts to pull you away from your beliefs then he is insincere.

Maybe he's just interested in you and couldn't come up with a better way to ask you out. You know him, what are your instincts telling you?
