Morphine, LSD, or alcohol?

2006-11-12 23:36:48 · 17 answers · asked by Anonymous in Health Mental Health

Morphine is the most addictive, followed by alcohol. LSD, like most of you have stated, is not addictive in the least, however it's affects can last for the rest of your life.
I really like craroline's answer. Alcohol is the only drug you can die when quitting, mostly if you have been addicted for a considerable amount of time and decide to go cold turkey.

For some people alcohol is most addictive.
For others it will be the morphine but no one has ever become addicted to LSD.

I believe it's morphine. I had it once as a strong painkiller in very small dosis. I already noticed it made me feel positive and it somehow lifted my mood. Now the taste they gave that was so horrible I was really happy when I could stop, but it was a fascinating experience for me. I must admit I have no experience at all with LSD.

Alcohol seems to be very addictive once you cross a certain level. But I believe it is more easy to cross that level with morphine.

I would say alcohol #1 ----only because it's a legal drug that can be obtained from any liquer store or grocery market----

The latter # Morphine---not as easily accessible---can be obtained with a valid prescription or bought on the streets---It is an opiate direvitate therefore making it a potentially addictive drug. Most often you find cancer patients being co-dependant on this drug to help with the mounting pain from their illness---

LSD---not addictive---It's a waste of time---and hallucengic as well...In the 70's known as the Party drug---just like the 2006 drug of choice Extacy!!

Morphine creates a huge physical dependancy, as does alcohol. LSD (in my limited experience) doesn't have such an effect, though it can be very dangerous to your mental health!

I would say that the availability of alcohol makes it more dangerous, and more addictive -

Out of the choices given: morphine.

Morphine attaches itself to the pain receptors in your body and it becomes physically addictive. Heroin is a form of morphine.

Morphine in its pure form is very addictive.
Alcohol is addictive but it is easy for some people to have one drink and then not have one for weeks.
LSD, to me, is not addictive.

Even porn can be very addictive. It depends on your mental settlement. Now if you mean which one harms the brain further and faster, then maybe LSD.
