Always better to be safe than sorry. I take my dog to the vet over any concern i have. I do hope your dog is gonna be ok but yes, take him to the vet and i hope its good news.
For the person previous to this thread.....i know a vet cant do much for him if he is blind but what the vet can do is to say yes or no about this possible blindness, it maybe due to something else or it may be curable, either way u shld take him asap to a vet. U wld feel awful if u did nothing and then to be told later that he could have been helped if u had taken him earlier.

My dog is blind right now because I didn't let it go see the doctor regularly. If your dog is more than 7 years-old, you must take it to the doctor at least twice a year for better health condition. My dog got an eye infection last year, there's no sign you can tell if your dog is going to be blind or not. It just happenned.A dog's eye will pop out if it gets an eye infectcion.

it seems a sensible thing to take him to the vets to get him checked out if you think there may be a problem. if he's given the all clear then great, and the money spent was worth the peace of mind - if it's not so good news at least you know and hopefully it'll be in good time to get the right treatment.

Not much the vet can do, dogs dont take to glasses. You may need to watch where you run him though, because of traffic, wire fences, cliffs etc...
You can test him yourself, using you hand, its hard to do waving food at a distance though, as they use scent so heavily.
