Lets just assume that both God and Satan exist. God is said to be “good” and Satan is said to be “evil”.

But, look at how any people God has killed: millions.

And look at how many people Satan has killed: none.

God is responsible for the all the plague/flood/vengeance killings.

Satan has done???

In my opinion, I think this is the huge fabrication of the Christian religion. Satan was probably once a happy, care-free individual who liked reading, country strolls, fishing and the like. But then a hell-bent God came down, made up a whole crock of sh*t about Satan and, like the Murdoch of the 1st Century AD, poisoned the minds of millions of people. The poisoning continues to this day. Going on the evidence of all the killings, what if God is Satan and Satan is God?

What if God’s bitter, malicious lies about our dear Satan forced the poor sod underground and due to the immense boredom, the only thing he can do is shaft the air with his fork and start the occasional fire? “God” then called this place Hell, when in fact it is quite a trendy abode, winning its fifth “Interior of the Year Award” in September 2006, beating Osama’s cave in Afghanistan and Saddam’s hole in Baghdad.

He probably begs for the day to return to the surface and reclaim what is rightfully his, but due to the vitriolic bitterness directed at him over the years, he knows he’d follow a similar fate to “God’s” very own son, Jesus.

Am I on to something?

"he used to live in the heavens side by side with all of the other angels...in 1914, he was cast out of heaven down to Earth...hence, all the problems and wars we see now."

"... And to think I'm only 21 and already know more than you..."

You clearly do. Could you tell me exactly where Satan landed back in 1914? Was he injured after falling from such a great height?

Could you also give me a viable explanation for all of the other huge wars pre 1914?

Or has Satan been going back and forth between Heaven's "escalator" for the past 5000 years?

But then, what would i know!?

'god' hasn't killed anyone since before jesus's' time (biblically speaking).
and if you believe any part of that teaching then you know that while satan has not directly killed anyone he has influenced many.
no, i'm not a christian. i just studied the bible (among other things).

Interesting. I thought that Christians believing in Satan went out with the '6,000 year-old earth', and the putting to death of homosexuals. Ok, so they still believe in Satan - well then...
It never ceases to amaze me when there's a natural disaster, tsunami, earthquake, 9/11, flood etc, if there's little or no loss of life then the Christians praise God for saving people. But if there's massive loss of life, suddenly it had nothing to do with God - it was the devil's work, and God was powerless to help. So from the answers to your question I see that the Christians disagree with your opinion that Satan has killed no-one. I would agree that as Satan does not exist, he has indeed killed no-one. But even though God does not exist either, He is responsible for MILLIONS of deaths throughout the ages simply because people BELIEVE He exists, and they have killed in His name - whether it be God or Allah.

Your pal at artwork is nice. look on the historic previous of all major religions and others that are literally not practiced. It replaced right into a thanks to regulate human beings, provide solutions in a time even as there have been none. The bible could not be treated as truth when you consider that there hasn't ever been one shred of knowledge that a god exists. Now if it can provide an ethical convenience, large. do exactly not take care of it as truth. also, look at how the position you've been born depicts what faith you're. it is not for the non-believers to provide data that there is no god, yet for believers to provide the data that there is a god. putting forward that, the really answer/data a religious individual may have is faith that that there is a god. faith, conception without data. that's a range of fantasy, and a severe count number that limits loose wondering and would have particular outcomes on the evolution of the mind. faith would reason us now to not conform and finally our species will die out. What a paradox.

No, you're way off. It's because of Satan that bad things happen. God doesn't kill people. The world was made to be perfect, and sustain life forever. We brought sin into it, which Satan tempted us to do.
Therefore, all loss of life leads back to Satan. Evil is the absence of God.

Now, here's the miracle of the whole Christian faith, and I'd really like you to consider this. Please forgive me if it seems I'm preaching, that is not my intention.
IF God exists (and I believe He does, obviously), and He is indeed the Alpha and Omega, the Great I Am, then He KNEW the pain that creating mankind would bring Him. He KNEW that Adam and Eve would fall, which would ultimately lead to Him having to sacrifice His Son.
And yet, He did it anyway. If that's not LOVE, I don't know what is.

Just think about it. Wherever you are, whether you believe or not, please think about that.

I was searching once myself. I haven't always been a Christian. And MY research led me to belief, and my belief led to faith, and now...I am firm in my conviction.

God loves me. And oh, how He loves you!

This is my ignorant response to the "Carlos D" answer to this question:

The war in Bosnia-Herzegovina was among three faith groups, (Muslim, Roman Catholic, and Serbian Orthodox).

A group of world religious leaders from the Buddhist, Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox Christian, Jewish, Muslim and many other faiths met in Geneva Switzerland during 1999-OCT. They issued a document, The Geneva Spiritual Appeal, asking political and religious leaders and organizations to ensure that religions are not used to justify violence in the future. Delegates believed that that then-current 56 conflicts have religious elements.

When i was 21 I felt I knew it all also. Now that I am an old man I realize
just how much I yet need to know.

Wow...ignorance in the first degree.

The reason Satan was classified as "bad" was because Satan chose not to obey God's commandment and show his respect by worshipping him. He was eager and ambitious and wanted the Creator's position.

Think about our "work-force" today. The boss gets to decide who continues employment and who is not of his satisfaction. God, in effect is our employer...and he has set specific rules in order for us to more fully benefit from our lives. The reason all of these problems occur is due to our lack of obedience to Him.

God's "killings" were ALL just and ALL of the people that he "killed" were warned ahead of time to change their ways. They chose to be rebels and took in the consecuences. Satan has killed Trillions of people throughout history by means of manipulating people on Earth to do his bidding. So Satan has him beat in that sense.

And just for the record...Satan's habitat is not a "Hell" that is underground...in fact, Hell isn't even Biblically based...he used to live in the heavens side by side with all of the other angels...in 1914, he was cast out of heaven down to Earth...hence, all the problems and wars we see now.

I hope this information/response has cleared up your "clouded" view of the "Christians".

And to think I'm only 21 and already know more than you...=S

Satan has killed millions of people, what are you thinking? Every time a person kills another, that is Satan. I don't know where you came up with this. Where did you get your information from? I think you are either just playing around or are seriously mentally ill.

I think Satan and his demons work their evil through men. For example, Hitler and his armies exterminated 6 million Jews. Pol Pot killed over a million people in Cambodia. Stalin also slaughtered millions. This was not the work of God. Christians believe that men such as this were acting under satanic or demonic influences.

Your fastener is screwed into the wrong hole. God has killed no-one.
People have killed people. And it's because of Satan's influence.
