Sod them back off to where they came from, and let them claim 'persecution' in the country where it occured. It didn't fu*cking happen in Britain, so it's not Britain's problem. Bloody load of old bollocks.

Never mind, a nice free house, and lots of social security will soon make it better. Bastards!

This is a good question, I guess it depends on the country where the person is seeking asylum. The others answering your question seem to feel it is Britain. Here in the United States, there would have to be a hearing with the Immigration and Customs Officials, but most likely if the people who did the mutilation were in power, or were rebels in her country, she would be granted asylum. If it was done because of religious reason by family members (and as I understand it that is the most likely reason) then they may not grant it.

As far as I know, she can't get her clitoris back anyway, so she can't be continually persecuted with zealots running after her trying to continue chopping her private parts up.--

(Genital Mutilation proves that the country of origin is scum, why can't she go to a different country, why does it always have to be England?)
