Jesus christ was the son of god, true im sure, but how if he was born to the virgin mary did he know that he was the son of god, did god ever speak to him while he was on earrth and tell him?

As he grew and gradually learned things from his "father" on Earth(Joseph), he got to learn about God and slowly remembered his life prior to his coming to Earth. The main event that triggered everything was his baptism on 29 E.C. He was filled with Holy Spirit and his Father spoke to him from the heavens saying, "This is my son, the loved one, the one I have approved. Listen to him."

There is a physical existence and there is an existence at the spiritual level. For most of us, our consciousness is always at the physical plane. For a highly spiritually developed person, like Jesus whose consciousness is always at the spiritual level, the identification is with the God, the source of all the spirits. That God, is rightly the father to him. For us too, God is the father. Only difference is that we do not live in spirit and not spiritually conscious.

The Bible didn't give that detail but he knew he was from a early age, remember when he was 12 yrs old and he was in the temple talking with the scribes and priests and his mother and father could not find him, when they did he said that he was doing his fathers work, referring to God in heaven.

He was indoctrinated at a young age and either he was delusional (which I doubt) or he was simply misunderstood. When he refered to God as his father, he simply meant in the same way he thought all of us as God's children.
