What about it?
Amtrak has several stops along the Northeat Corridor between Phili and NYC: Newark, Newark Airpark, Metropark, Princeton Junction and Trenton (possibly others, too. those are the ones I recall - but not every train stops at alll of them).
New Jersey Transit operates a line from Atlantic City to Phili, and 12 lines across northern NJ toward NYC (half to Penn Station, half to Hoboken).
Port Authority Trans Hudson, or PATH, operates trains between NJ and NYC, from Newark, Jersey City and Hoboken. There is also a light rail line in this region.
Phili's communter rail line reaches Trenton.
