It doesnt sound babyish hun. But what exactly are you scared of? If you absolutely have to wait for the bus on your own I would just stand tall and fake confidence. In your head pretend you are somebody else- someone that doesnt get scared easy, and someone that copes well in situations like this. Try not to think about bad things and after a while you will get less scared.
Works for me every time im scared :-)

Just stand there and don't talk to anyone... just wait for that bus.
Is this a school bus, or city bus? You know it will not be that long, you can do it, just pretend that your sister is there with you, and your brother.. they are just fooling around the corner or something. The bus will come faster then you think then you will be ok. Don't talk to anyone on the city bus, sit by the driver at the front of the bus till you get to school.

tell your mom and dad that you get scared and maybe they can wait with you for a few min or maybe they can get your brother to wait with you til your bus gets there or maybe they can have someone to wait with you there is nothing wrong with being scared dont talk to people you dont know and dont stand close to the road

Sweetie, In this old world it pays to be afraid. Do you have some friends that your parents could drop you off at? That way you could go to school with them. What time does your school let children in? Maybe they could drop you off there. I'll be praying for your safety.

we all get a little frightened at times, thats what keeps us alert and alive. be strong and think of other stuff while you wait for the bus. once you have done it you will be OK
