Long story, so heres the short version: Met girl, had 1 night stand back in sep 05. She finds me & tells me she had baby girl 4mths ago, & she's mine.
Has unprotected sex 3 times in 1 night. Didn't know her last name. She knew a lot about me. we talked all night.
Says she kept this from me so didn't ruin my life. I am 23 she's 24. but now she needs me to be in their lives. I have a new g/f & not sure weather 2 tell her. I want 2 support this girl & "our" baby & be a good dad. she lives far away & emailed me pics of baby. she looks like me. Girl said we can have dna test if I want. She sounds so depressed & really wants me 2 be there. I am so confused, a
& don't know what 2 do. She says that baby is mine coz she hadn't slept with anyone but me in 18 months. Can anyone plz give me advice??? It's so important.

only a DNA test will tell you for sure and its a lot better than living in doubt for the rest of your life or eventually finding out the baby is not yours. You should have the test done before you get too deep into it, especially since it sounds like you are considering leaving your current girlfriend to go be with her and the baby.

She could be lying but maybe not. I would defimitely get the testing done before I made any big decisions. Get it done becasue if that baby is yours then legally and morally you have an obligation need to take care of that child - at least financially. You should be a dad to the baby and visit etc. Don't worry about the new girlfriend at the moment. Find out the truth then deal with everytihng else.

Definatly get the DNA test. If its yours then do then pay your share. You should also ask for part of the childs custody - after all it isnt your fault u only found out now.
Also tell your new gf. She could support you emotionally (but definatly not financially - its not her kid till she marries u). If u tell her and she leaves, then u dont need that extra baggage - no mater how much u like her now ( you will find the right person soon)
If she stays then u really are lucky.

If it hasn't sunk in yet... Take a DNA test!! Tell your current girlfriend!! (Or embrace wholeheartedly the art of deception and secrecy - which may not be a road you want to start on...)
Depending on the result, whether you leave your current girlfriend is up to you. The days of the "shotgun wedding" are long gone, so it's not 'necessary' for you to leave if the baby is yours - just don't be a dick and skip out on support...

I advise you to take an DNA test to determine if the baby is yours...then if it is you have an obligation to support the baby girl...and yes it is wise to tell your new girlfriend if the baby is yours, it would be worse if she found out from other sources....take it one step at a time and evaluate your progress that you both take for each others future if the baby is yours....discuss with your ex to determine where you both propose to do about the situation.....

You need to tell ur gf and have a dna test done.

Get the test done as soon as possible. If the baby is yours you need to take partial responsibility, but not a complete 50% since you were not consulted. But do it ASAP so you can know for sure. She could be counting on your believing her or also telling the truth. you owe it to the child to resolve this matter as soon as you can.

Take a DNA test, at least if it is yours and you want to be a dad you have the chance, if she's not yours then you can walk away with your head held high!! Next time use contraception aswell

Before you go spilling your guts to ANYONE about this, do what the other folks suggested and get the child's blood tested. If it's yours, you have options, but don't jump the gun before you know the score. Just don't do anything stupid without thinking about all your options for a long period of time. Good luck!

aww you poor thing, you sound like a good guy who wants to do the right thing. number one, go get that dna test, and yes you have to tell your current gf. and if she doesnt accept it then she snot right for you, people make mistakes, and if this baby is yours, you need to be there for the girl and the child, raising a chilkd alone is very difficult, and not just finacially, she needs emotional support from you, and needs your help.
