Your body needs water to be healthy. Get a water bottle and put it next to you. Before you drink something else, have the rule that you must drink X amount of water. You will be amazed at how much water you start to drink when there is always water next to you.
If the taste is what prevents you from drinking it, start buying flavored water. I like the kind with lemon. Taste almost like a water downed lemonaid.

Doctors recommend drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water. Some doctor says:

it helps in you in proper digestion
hydrates your skin to combat skin disorders
improve your energy
help you lose weight
etc...

As long as you don't have these problems then you might say you are healthy. You may want to exercise everyday so you'll perspire and would need to drink lots of water/fluid.

Try to dring 1 glass evey hour or every two hours. This way you can easily get at least 6 glasses a day, which is the recommendation. Or carry around small bottles of water, you need 3 on average a day.

I know what you mean. For me it just took keeping several bolltle of water in the fridge and carrying one with me all the time. The colder it is the more it helps. I now drink more than the recommended amount every day. I grows on you.

It's OK as long as you aren't substituting soda or another drink for water. Drink water when you are thirsty it helps quench yout thirst better but if you aren't thirsty don't worry about drinking 8 glasses a day.

If you are healthy, your body will tell you when to drink and how much to drink by making you thirsty. You will drink exactly the amount of water that you need.

use a slice of lemon or lime. You can alway make ice cubes and add lemon or lime too. Water flushes out the body as well. Just be consistant even with 3 or 4 glasses and maybe tea too.

Eat some lemon wedges or add lemon juice to your water. Did you know that alot of the time when people feel they are hungry, it is really that the body is CRAVING water? My nutritionalist was discussing this with me.

Actually, any liquids you drink count towards your daily intake of water. Also, foods have liquid in them. I wouldn't worry about it.
