No, I don't nelieve that god created the world, that was a story concocted by people who tried to explain it but didn't have the knowledge to do so. There is no excuse for believing these stories now because, while the big bang cannot be proven, and is therefore still a theory, there is a huge amount of evidence that indicates it is true.

Isn't it a little too difficult to digest the fact that life evolved out of the big bang? It is high time people start reasoning out and get to know the truth. Life is complex and requires intelligence and is possible only with God, who, no doubt is the author of creation.

What Darwin came out with telling the world, was realised by himself at the end of his life, and what came up as his death was self invited, regretting for the 'blunder' which led the entire humankind to believe that 'Darwinism' was the answer to life in the universe.

I feel the universe that we're aware of is merely a tiny piece of a much larger puzzle. M-Theory suggests that our observable universe may have been spawned by the collision of neighboring branes. (That may have been what caused the Big Bang.)
-
While I don't rule out God's involvement in the process, I don't feel He is what we think He is. Perhaps all that is happening here is little more than an autonomous process for Him. (Do you put conscious thought into making the cells of your body divide?)
-
Another possibility : Perhaps some god-like being did assist with the development of this planet's life, but He might not be omnipotent. Perhaps He came from a civilization that beat us to the evolutionary punch by millions (billions?) of years.

According to me my friend, yes there is some sort of a spiritual power present in this world, I can't be an aesthetic entirely though to an extent I believe that the world has been created by A superpower called God, Eventhough all of us know dat science played a major role in forming the world,....To an extent its our belief which is God played the main role in creating the earth/world that plays a major role....and thus we can't ignore them!!!
As far as Blessings are concerned they are all in the mind!!
Its like..... people don't realise the talents and their abilities, capacities they are born with and when they realise them they think they are all blessings from God!!!

Yes, I believe the world was created by God.
The big bang theory is still the most popular idea of how this universe got started, but it is rapidly loosing its following due to the law of conservation of angular momentum. The newer string theory is further complicating this matter. But no one understands it either. Science is at a loss as to the origins of the universe and the earth. They have theories upon theories, but no real clue yet.

Big bang is an atheistic theory. Atheists have to explain how life came into being so after breaking their head for centuries they came up with big bang theory which is also unverifiable as existence of God.At least the thought of god gives solace to some people at least but the big bang theory is of no use to any one.

I believe in god. I believe that things like evolution and the big bang are the language god used to create the universe.

1. "As to thy question concerning the origin of creation. Know assuredly that God's creation hath existed from eternity, and will continue to exist forever. Its beginning hath had no beginning, and its end knoweth no end. His name, the Creator, presupposeth a creation, even as His title, the Lord of Men, must involve the existence of a servant. ... Whatsoever in the contingent world can either be expressed or apprehended, can never transgress the limits which, by its inherent nature, have been imposed upon it. God, alone, transcendeth such limitations. He, verily, is from everlasting. No peer or partner has been, or can ever be, joined with Him. No name can be compared with His Name. No pen can portray His nature, neither can any tongue depict His glory. He will, for ever, remain immeasurably exalted above any one except Himself."

2. "The process of His creation hath had no beginning, and can have no end."

Pope John Paul II said he believed in both.

He said he didn't have any problem with the Big Bang Theory; who cares how God did it -- the important thing was that God orchestrated it all.
