Last night I got arrested for DUI. The cop was impounding my car and he left the door tohis car unlocked and I got out and left. I was not that drunk and its not like I ran someone over. I am still wearing his handcuffs and I cannot figure out how to get them off. I managed to get them to the front so I can type and use the toilet, but I want to get rid of them before my parents wake up. Any Ideas?

If there is a place to buy a key I would go there but the car I borrowed from my Granny is not available.

The cop was leaned over inside of my car looking for the stuff I had stashed under the seat. I think he found my weed. He was not with a partner it was just him and I was quiet and ran into the woods.

Darling, how disappointing that you got your hands in front of you. Being handcuffed behind your back is much yummier.

Just for fun I'll assume that you ARE NOT the liar that you obviously are. Best choice.... Call the police and surrender. By the time you are in the back seat of a police car in handcuffs the office already knows who you are so running away is only going to make things worse. Try showing up at the police station, apologizing for your stupidity, and hope for a little leniency. Of course you can just wait until the police come and smash your door down and haul you off to jail with a warrant.... I guess your parents will find out then!

Most hand cuff have a universal key. If you could find someone with a set of cuffs and they had a key it could unlock yours.

Bolt cutters will work also.

And while you are able to type and use the toilet you can use the phone to call a lawyer cause you know that cop is coming after you right now. Member, that car had plates on it . Your gone dude.

both have particular advantages. The hinged enable the officer to apply the cuff set as a leverage device once one hand is cuffed. The hinge doesn't bend like the chain so the suspects wrist ought to maintain on with the cuff. Chain cuffs do not bind and so are more convenient to adhere to to an aggressive concern. The tensile potential of the only chain strand is extremely weak compared to the hinge joint besides the undeniable fact that, this weak spot isn't a protection probability mostly.

In the film Mad Max, Max claimed you could cut through the steel in handcuffs with a hacksaw in ten minutes. Might be poetic license though.

WTG, you might have gotten away with a misdomeanor for the DUI, but Escape is a felony.
Turn yourself in and pray that you don't get put in with Bubba, unless you like that sort of thing.

The problem with your story bud, is that the police car doors don't have handles that work for back seat passengers. So locked or unlocked you couldn't have gotten out.

Just turn yourself in. The police know your name and have your car. How long do you think it will take them to come to your parents home looking for you ??
