Pastors are in it for the money and the fame. Get out while you can and go to a normal church if you have to.

A group who follows the teaching of just one person is more like a cult than a religion. In JWs, everyone is taught the same, with everyone learning to be ministers. There is not pastor. Even the Governing Board at the society doesn't hold their positions for any length of time and the number varies from 10-20, so there is not one person saying they have the knowledge and authority. Everyone does, and everyone contributes.

the Pastor should be teaching what Jesus taught and doing his/ her best to lead us to Jesus.

Hebrew 10:24
We need to fellowship with other Christians and trust God that the Pastor is leading in the right direction (Romans 13)

If the Pastor is wrong God will deal with it. But we need to be obedient, COS Jesus also says in John 14 (along with the sheep and vine, ) - somewhere around there.
If you love me you will obey my commands.

You shouldn't. In particular you shouldn't finance them, which is what they're really after in any case.

While I loath most Christians, I have to confess to having nothing but good things to say about this Jesus guy. If more Christians were interested in doing as he taught instead of being superior to people who think for themselves I'd get along a lot better with them on the whole.
