The first two answers are good ones, so to ad to them he may be telling you this because he simply does not want to eat breakfast. Or perhaps his stomache does hurt at breakfast due to the fact that our stomaches shrink over night and it may be causing discomfort when he eats

All of the above and my mom used to make me drink a glass of orange juice every morning. On top of that I had to eat a bowl of cereal - with milk! I felt sick for hours every day. I still don't eat breakfast most days and NEVER with o.j.!

Try switching whatever he's eating.
Or it could be that he has to go #2. Every time my nephew has to go he complains that his tummy hurts.

he may just not be a breakfast person. i am the same way, instead of giving him food for breakfast give him a smoothie. it helps.
