A good 5 min brush should do it.

Try Clinique's Turnaround face masque instead of toothpaste. It may cost more but it really works! If I feel a spot coming on I put a blob on overnight and by the morning it's almost gone. Ask at a Cliniqe counter for a sample and give it a go - I promise you it works!

It is not a myth.............

It really does work, I advised someone on here with a huge spot before a party to try some overnight.....

She did and it worked (and I got best answer for it ! )

Toothpastes usually have antibacterial ingredients in them which help kill bacteria around the spot and dry them up.

Just a little rubbed on before you go to bed and washed off in the morning does the trick.

I have done this myself for years.... those who say it doesn't work haven't tried it.

yes this does work. I usually just put it on a night before I go to bed and leave it til the morning, then it just peels off. it dries out the spot so it is ready to pop, even though you shouldn't really.

That's rubbish. The toothpaste may help to dry them out, but tea-tree oil works better and doesn't leave you looking like a mong!

I tried this, i left it on ALL NIGHT. I waited till it dried before going to bed, but yeah, left it on all night.
Personally i found it done nothing, but every body's skin is different.
I drink about 2 litre's of water a day, and i find that really helps.

Good luck.

i put toothpaste on any acne that I have, it reduces the redness, and if you put just a small amount on, leave it on for a few hours, or if you put band aid on it, you can leave on over night

well you should add sunblock to your face or use makeup with sunblock in it.... it's good to use sunblock so the spots won't get darker... spots go away though... not really fast but they go away trust me i used to pick on my face a lot and used to have dark spots..... they eventually went away.. try not to pick at your face.. don't even touch your face.. my aunt told me once to never ever touch my face because that's what was making me breakout a lot and i stopped touching my face.... and that seriously worked....but yea everyone has a different skin type... just ignore your spots they'll go away eventually

depends on what your spot is. tooth paste can help but i wouldnt leave it on to soak or ne thing, id just scrub scrub scrub, but i could be a lot more helpful if i knew what ur spot was.
