It is easier for people to generalize because they are too lazy to take out the time and think and evaluate what the person is like. I hate generalizations, too but I am used to it. Look at things differently, surprise those who than that your are a coinly portray of the media.

It's assumed because the majority seem to behave a certian way. It's the same for anything wether it's religion or something about a certian race. It's the way we have been taught to behave.

That's true but remember that although it won't necessarily dictate their actions, a religion will effect people by giving them a bias against other certain aspects of the world.

It's easy to group and attack people, make sweeping generalizations. My beliefs may not be yours, but I go about my business quietly, faithfully, try to help others. Could be said for many other groups. Good and bad in both.
