an give them all the needs to live and help them untill they are old enough to do it by their self which wouldn't be as old as most would think. it is very possible that they would come up with some kind of "GOD" of their on. thats because humans need something to be a higher power we are afraid to be alone. another thing i bet their belife in whatever "god" they come up with WOULD have an after life. i would bet my life on it that their god wouldn't be jesus are anything like the christians belive. so.. this just shows there is no gods just the sense of wishfully thinking:)

Your right, because even when atheists are in pain they call out "OH GOD!" if they don't believe in God, why do they subconsciously call out for him when they are in pain or when they need help?

The belief in God (whatever god) can't be forced on any one. But strangely, there comes a time when most people believe that THERE IS GOD. Just go on the way you are, and may be such a time will come for you too. Be happy

I think you would like the book 'Lord of the Flies" by William Golding. It is about kids in a similar situation to yours, only they don't go the religious path but the political power path. It's short and is a really good read - nobel prize winner...

It depends on their concept of reality. It may be that they have no concept of a higher being. You don't see other animals making up gods, I don't see how this differs from kids raised by other animals.

Btw, would one of those children happen to be Milla Jovovitch?

"If you put two very young children on an island etc, would they be more likely to come up with an idea of God, or would they develop an atheistic viewpoint?"

THAT would have been a question. What you have done is got on your soapbox and made an announcement.

And I'm an atheist, for what it matters.

Obviously you don't know about an unreached group who did have the exact same story as the Christians I will seek you and email it after I get the exact details off my Pastor who told us that at Bible Study.

It could be looked at that way, or that it is instilled in them that there is a God, but they dont know who or where God is so they make due

Also , of course they wouldnt know salvation. They wouldnt have heard about him. That is what we are told to do. Spread the word of God.

I have often wondered what happens to those who havent heard the gospel of Christ? Do they go to hell? That doesnt make much sense.
