I once asked a flight attendant on United, and she said it was indeed complimentary. They have a stock full of magazines in the back of the plane and they're supposed to refill the magazines in the seats that need them. You pay so much for your airline ticket that the magazine is pretty petty to the Airline. We also discussed in class how many people (and I do NOT encourage this...it just seems tacky!) will take the silverware in first class, and in coach (if they provide it).. and even if a flight attendant notices, they are instructed not to act because, well it just doesn't really matter.

hope that helps, and happy flying!

I guess so. I've taken mine with me lots of times, and nobody said a word to me not to.

Pretty sure it is, but I can't imagine wanting to read SkyMall at home.
