Christians laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods consorting with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

I think what the Bible meant when it said have no others gods, but me, we know there is only one God, but people want to perceive that there are others and God knew this. Just like He made it very clear about worshipping idols. We are like children and we have to be told not to do something.
