does ur dog pull u while u r taking him out for a walk?
Its a good sign. Don't worry. Your dog is young. And it indicates that he is healthy and full of Joy & Playfulness. Never worry about that. It is in their nature.
if u want to stop him doing this, u can(if it is so annoying) by scolding him while he is doing so.
even if he doesn't stop then u can give him a little pat and scold him. he will definitly listen to u, if he obeys u!
butit is advisable that don't scold him while he is enjoying.

Friendly Hello,
To make things easier on you and to gain more control. I would suggest getting a properly fitted pinch collar. When you go on that walk. And your dog starts to pull. Give him a little dicipline tug and say no. After being consistant with this you dog will settle down. Or you can go right to the basics and sign up with basic obedience class at your local kennel club. I am not sure what your breed of dog is or if registered or not. But one thing you can do to have fun with your dog if it is registered is doing weight pulling compitation. Love it.

i have a huge dog and i had this problem. You need to pull on the lead and shout heal and make the lead short so he gets used to walking near you. Take some biscuits with you and when he behaves give him one. He will learn quickly. Alternativiely if he keeps pulling walk im on the short lead and stand still and make him sit. They get bored of sitting so much that they seem to stop pulling. Just remember the biscuits and the praise.

A pup will pull on it's leash until it coughs. And still do it some more.
When the dog gets a foot (..2M) out in front of you, give a short and very sharp pull on the leash and say "heel!"
After about 5 attempts to do his own thing, the pup should start walking with a loose reign.

Probably curious of the world, especially if he/she hasnt been outside much . Dogs also have a very keen smell and hearing so they may hear something u cant and want to pull away to investigate. if this troubles you , you can go to your local pet shop and buy a special collar made for walkin dogs to prevent pulling. It looks like a chain collar with spikes ( not sharp ) that squeeze togeather pinching the dogs neck when he pulls away from you. it doesnt hurt a whole lot but keeps them in check. Helps train dogs too so walkin is a ease.

keep him on a short leash when he pulls say no and pull him back so he is walking next to you. Do this continuesly eventually he will realise what is the correct way to walk. Though he should have been taught this at 6 months not a year and a half.

m ost dogs learn quickly on a choker, not my ideal way to stop a dog pulling, only use for short term though.I would suggest a harness of some sort depending on the size and type of dog you have, you will find more control if he keeps pulling they do eventualy get fed up of being stopped in their traks as it were.

My dog did that for years and years till i bought him a harness, it eliminated the prob completely, it was about 8-9 quid from the pets at home, really is worth it, no more being dragged up the street and looking a tit

he is just excited about going out...if he doesnt understand commands you should take him to obedience classes...but in the first instance you could buy a halti its like a soft strap/muzzle it stops the dog pulling as ..as he pulls it pulls his head down and a dog cant pull with head down only up...it isnt as cruel as a choke chain they dont mind it at all i tried one out on a gordon setter i had and it worked wonders after a while they forget to pull and then you can take them out with a normal collar...

get a choker chain collar. its sounds harsh but he will learn soon not to pull against you. it tightens around his neck as he pulls harder and loosens when he doesn't. also tell him no when he pulls.
