my friend did the washing up last night and didnt wash a glass i drank out of properly ...i had some water in it but it tasted funny and when i looked into the glass it was foamy from the fairy liquid, i went to bed shortly after but woke up with a sore throat, anyone know if fairy liquid is harmful?

Just a tiny bit won't do you any harm but any detergent's likely to give you a sore throat. At least you've cleaned your mouth out!

no its not harmful otherwise people wounldnt use it to wash up i av justed read the back its ok maybe u are getting a cough get well soon and good luck

of course it isn't poisonous....it probably just striped your throat of its natural coating...i know if i use it too much to wash my hands they become very dry...and if you get soap up your nose you get a sore throat too...
dont worry, unless you start to vomit, then call a doctor... im sure you'll be fine though.
