This happened to me as well...
but I've come out of it,thankz to my teacher's advice..
I'll give you the same prescription what my teacher gave...
....
......Don't care about the marks, Don't think of the consequences,
.......just try to prepare for the exam in a relaxed mood....
Be confident, else be lethargic.. with a don't care attitude...
Face the exam.. and imagine yourself as a warrior and the exam as the war..your pen and pencil are your weapon...
With this attitude you can avoid this exam fever

Everybody in the entire world feels afraid when exams come near (except those who are either incredibly confident or not clever enough to realise how important their exams are). You might be making a bigger deal out of your exams than necessary, though. If you have done enough work you have no need to be worried. You might just be a bit of a worrier. Some people naturally worry more than others. Most of the time it is just a habit that we have gotten into over the years, and something we do without thinking about it every time something even only slightly threatening comes up. It is not easy to break habits, but it is worth the effort. But it is important to know that worrying is only that: a habit. Remind yourself of this whenever it happens, and try to drop the worry, just let it go (easier said than done, of course). But if you KNOW it is just a habit, and that there is no danger really present, then it is easier to do. Good luck with the exams.

I think we all feel this way! For some it's nervous excitement, for others it's a feeling of being overwhelmed. No matter how much you prepare, there's always a feeling of 'what if I haven't studied enough' or 'what if there's a question I can't answer'? I hope your exam goes well. If you're feeling anxious, try some relaxation techniques, such as massages, meditation, warm milk before bed, etc. Good luck!

afraid to fail
to get embarrassed to the people around you
to weather you'll make it this year...etc.

whatever it is it's something you need to set it aside for a while and lay back and manage your way through it

take it easy it's not the end of the world you know...
