I was told that roll up tobacco doesnt have all the same chemicals as the tobacco in cigarettes. I know they're both bad i know, but which is worse?

I smoke tailor mades and apparently they are supposed to be better because of the filter, but also roll ups are supposed to have less chemicals, I personally think that the only benefit from smoking roll ups would be the fact you might smoke less as you have to physically roll your own as opposed to just opening the pack and lighting up, (of course you can get around this by pre rolling) always seem to smoke more if I have a carton in the house as opposed to a single pack. Only real advice I can give is to anybody reading this that doesn't smoke DON'T START and have a little patience with those of us addicted to smoking.

You need to add filters to roll up cigarettes, the tobacco is the same, so rollies'll be worse without filters. Apparently smoking a pipe is mildly 'better' for you than smoking cigarettes

I think they are actually the same but even with filters I start coughing if I use roll-ups so prefer ready-made!
If you are worried about future health problems Give up now. The younger you are and the less time you have smoked then the better your chances of avoiding ANY problems.

The tobacco is pretty much the same, it is the addition of a filter that will slightly reduce your risk of inhaling all that crap. Only really slightly though! You'll still be at extreme risk of lung cancer, mouth cancer throat cancer smelling bad having yellow curtains emphysema COPD and running the risk of no one wanting to kiss you because you taste like an ashtray.

Sorry x x

I am sure that roll-ups are worse, dont know why but they make me cough a lot whereas when i smoke normal cigs i dont cough at all. Wish i could stop smoking but it is my parents fault, i was abused as a child, the dog bit me and the cat scratched me it is all their fault, really:)))

It's still tobacco just that one is made up for you and the other you have to make urself
Both as harmful so the answer is to QUIT

complete myth, people will tell you just about anything to make them look better, or cooler, if there was any truth in it do you not think the tobacco companies would have used it in advertising campaigns.

Roll ups are much worse if you don't add filters

You're right both are bad but rollies are 'healthier'. A doctor actually confirmed this (after lecturing me on how bad smoking is ofcourse).
