I've noticed that particularly on this site, when a question is posted, within seconds..... .....there's several responses. Only seconds. . . . Does that mean that people are not THINKING enough, BEFORE SPEAKING ???

I also noticed, that many of those first respondents have misunderstood the meaning of the question.. . . . What does that say to you ??

Most people don't think before they speak whether on here or face-to-face.

But you have to give them a bit of credit, they must type incredibly fast.

Funny you should mention that.
1. Many don't actually read the question through. I have asked one question and only the first part was answered.
2. Many of the questions are so incoherent that it is difficult to understand what they are asking.
3. Many questions are inappropriate, eg how do I get a visa to visit country X (from the travel questions). Most of the people answering questions here would not have a clue.
4. Many questions cannot be answered. "Which is better, Catholicism or Islam?" If an answer were possible it would take tens of thousands of words to explain.
5. Some questions "Why do Jewish always wear black suits --?" show a startling depth of ignorance or maybe lack of years.

It easier to get two points with waffle than think about the answer and maybe get an extra ten.

well i do notice that there is a delay on computers.. and if people find a question title intriging, then they tend to read it and state opinon on the matter or fact if they have it... ur first thoughts on something are what u usually feel correct, they were in ur subconsious waiting for the question to be asked... most people dont need to think much about it.. and if a question is misunderstood, cant it be that the questions wasnt worded correctly to begin with, with poor grammer and horrible typing... as if i might say so i participate in.. are reasons to miscomprehend what a person is trying to ask... so if ur questions are being mis understood, why dont u try grammatically correcting them and see if u get better results
