"cause when you study it, it says in the bible, jesus said that mohammmad is the last messenger of god."
I dont recall ever reading this.
EDIT_- Where is this at in the bible? WHy do you continue to make accusations without showing us where it is said?
Ohh and check this out.....men who called themselves christians have commited many terrible acts. True christians should denounce. I do. Do you denounce these actions?
"Father Paulos Eskandar, of Mor Afrem Syriac Orthodox Church was kidnapped on the 9th of October 2006 by fanatic Muslims. Two days later the Muslims had decapitated the priest."
"Three Muslims have been charged with the murders of the Christian schoolgirls committed almost a year ago, according to the Attorney-General's Office. On October 29 last year, four schoolgirls were walking to school in a village in Poso district, when they were attacked by men wearing black with their faces covered. The girls were hacked with machetes, and Ida Yarni Sambue (15), Theresia Morangke (15), and Alfita Poliwo (19) - were decapitated. The girl who survived, Noviana Malewa, had been hacked in the face and is scarred for life."
"A suspected Muslim rebel said that he was paid $US20 ($A26) to throw a grenade during Friday prayers in Indian Kashmir that killed five people including four children."

It's very simple if you see that the Islam religion was written and is one mans opinion about what he thinks or says you should do to be saved. then that is a denominational book and not a bible. If you want to live by the oil testament then why do you not kill animals for sacrifice. The old law was put away by JESUS in the new testament. If you say Mohamed is the one then where is john the Baptist the pope and rev, Mooney fit in. they just want you to follow what they think. There is a difference between ready the bible and studying the bible. There is not one place in the bible that tells me to kill another human. why doe's the Islamic religion tell you to do it.All of the johnny come lateys out there have no standing with me. Now if you want me to write a book on how you want to live your life i can do that just like all the others. But i would rather stay with the only one that tells me the way that GOD wants me to live.As you can read i have no faith in man kind. He will lie most of the time. If you truly want the truth about the bible try this site it will help you understand [ toddrow@tombigbee.com ]

There has been a more recent messenger from God - not messanger as such but God himself, posing as his own devotee, tasting the nectar of love for God, and teaching people very simple method of self and God realization). It was Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in Navadvip, India, 500 years ago and he said 'chant God's names and be happy'.
Also Krishna said in Bhagavbad Gita 'abandon all varieties of religion and surrender to me' (Krishna is Allah is Jehovah). Lets stop quarelling about who is greater than who and just chant God's name. Chant Allah! Chant Jah! Chant Krsna! This is the greatest method for deliverance and develop ones actually love for God!

WHEN YOU MENTION THAT MOHAMMADS NAME IS MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE OR THAT JESUS SAYS THAT MOHAMMAD IS THE LAST MESSENGER. GIVE PROOF WITH A SCRIPTURE FROM THE BIBLE. I WOULD NOT COME WITH INCORRECT COMMENTS ABOUT ISLAM OR THE QURAN IF I HAD NOT READ IT OR COULD REFER TO IT. ONCE YOU HAVE READ THE BIBLE AND CAN SHOW ME OR OTHERS THAT WE HAVE TO FOLLOW MOHAMMAD "FROM THE BIBLE " THAT IS , THEN ASK YOUR QUESTION AGAIN. UNTIL THEN ......

Lectio Divina is Latin for “spiritual reading” and represents an early monastic technique of prayer which continues in practice though less widely, intended to achieve communion with God as well as providing special spiritual insights and peace from that experience. It is a way of praying with Scripture that calls one to study, ponder, listen and, finally, pray from God's Word.
History
Lectio Divina was first expressed in the year 220 AD. It was found that to read the Bible profitably it is necessary to do so with attention, consistency and prayer. The systematization of “spiritual reading” into four steps dates back to the 12th century. Around 1150, Guigo II, a Carthusian monk, wrote a book entitled “The Monk’s Ladder” (Scala Claustralium) wherein he set out the theory of the four rungs: reading, meditation, prayer and contemplation. In 2005, Pope Benedict XVI stated, “This is the ladder by which the monks ascend from earth to heaven.”
Method
Lectio is typically practiced daily for one continuous hour. A selection from the Holy Scriptures is chosen ahead of time, often as a daily progression through a particular book of the Bible.
Time
Selecting a time for lectio divina is important. Typical methods are to pray for one hour in the morning, or to divide it into two half-hour periods, one in the morning and one in the evening. The key is to pre-select the time that will be devoted to the prayer, and to keep it. Using the same time every day leads to a daily habit of prayer that becomes highly effective.
Place
The place for prayer is to be free from distractions. This means it should be isolated from other people, telephones, visual distractions, etc. Some find a religious icon to be helpful. The same place should be used for lectio if possible, especially as one first begins to practice it. Familiarity with a location reduces the possibility of distraction away from the prayer. Some practitioners conduct other devotions, such as praying before the Catholic Eucharist, as a preparation for Lectio Divina.
Preparation
Prior to reading, it is important to engage in a transitional activity that takes one from the normal state of mind to a more contemplative and prayerful state. A few moments of deep, regular breathing and a short prayer inviting the Holy Spirit to guide the prayer time helps to set the tone and improve the effectiveness of the lectio.
Once the stage is set it is time to begin the prayer. There are four phases of the prayer, which do not necessarily progress in an ordered fashion. One may move between different phases of the prayer very freely as the Spirit guides.
The Four Moments
Lectio
Read the passage several times.
Meditatio
Reflect on the text of the passage, thinking about how to apply to one's own life. Gravitate to any particular phrase or word that seems to be of particular import. This should not be confused with exegesis, but is a very personal reading of the Scripture and application to one's own life.
Oratio
Respond to the passage by opening the heart to God. This is not primarily an intellectual exercise, but more of the beginning of a conversation with God.
Contemplatio
Listen to God. This is a freeing oneself from one's own thoughts, both mundane and holy. It is about hearing God talk to us. Opening our mind, heart and soul to the influence of God. Any conversation must allow for both sides to communicate, and this most unfamiliar act is allowing oneself to be open to hearing God speak.
