It isn't wrong. The religious nuts want you to think it is wrong but it really isn't.
As long as it is consensual and as long as protection, then it isn't wrong.

The Bible exhorts Christians to flee not only from fornication itself but also from all forms of unclean conduct that could lead to it.
Serious Threats
For example, each year millions of youths contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD).Over half of all new HIV infections worldwide (6,000 a day) occur among those who are between 15 and 24 years of age.

Then there are the spiritual and emotional aftereffects. Premarital sex can wound the conscience of a God-fearing youth
Sexual relations are a gift from God, a gift that is to be enjoyed at the appropriate time—when one is married. How does God feel when we try to enjoy sex outside of marriage? Well, imagine that you have purchased a gift for a friend. Before you can give it to that friend, he or she steals it! Wouldn’t you be upset? Imagine, then, how God feels when a person engages in premarital sex, abusing the gift that God has provided.

Reasons why God advised we dont engage in premarital sex
- it most often produces emotional attachment in one or both parties, which whether more times than not ends in anxiety, depression, despair-broken hearts, when things sooner or later dont work out or feeling obligated to marry someone you wouldnt otherwise
-it is responsible for the creation and spread of STDs
-it is likely to result in unwanted pregnancies resulting in either abortion, adoption, single parent families or an uncommitted, dysfunctional couple trying to raise a happy, healthy child
Sex was meant for a loving, committed union-and if you truly love and are committed to each other then why not show it by getting married?

Not knowing what age you are, I'm going to try to answer this with a few points of view.
First of all, the only thing that says premarital sex is wrong is religion. Being atheist, I don't happen to believe it is. Many people choose to never get married in this day and age, and trust me, they aren't going to live as a couple and not play around, just because they don't have a piece of paper signed by a priest or justice of the peace.
Personally, I think a couple should engage in sex before marriage, simply out of common sense. Sexual compatibility is finally being seen as important and often essential to a successful relationship. To me, it makes no sense to give your life to someone, legally, only to find out later you're completely incompatible in bed.
However, with all of that said, age and maturity have a lot of play in this. You should NOT have sex before you are mentally mature enough to handle the consequences ... both physical and emotional. There is no rush, and you'll be glad you waited.

It does hurt the baby that will get killed in the process. The baby that was born and his father refuse to admit it is his. The community around you that wants to have premartial sex like you. If it is OK no one will get married. The purpose of marriage is to declare that these two are making a family toghether. Wrongs religion is not always because you hurt somebody. Take heroin it's great and you wont hurt anyone. Guess what you'll hurt yourself, waste your money and health and subsidise the dealer to help him hurt more people.

There is nothing wrong with it under the right conditions, like two people are willing, healthy, educated enough to protect themselves from unwanted babies or abortions and they are old enough to be truly responsible for their own actions and consequences.
If all that is in order, then they probably need an appropriate space. Do you have it? If not find one. Safe, clean, locked from the inside, not in a house where others may come in unannounced and so on.
Do you know about protection? If not find out!

It is not worng but I think the reasoning behind that is that a relationship does not develope other than a sexual one. I had premarital sex also but we went to pre marriage couples counceling and the priest said to become obstinent for the two months before our marriage. We did and not only did our relationship become stronger our wedding night was awesome.

Islam does not approve of intimate mixing of the sexes, and forbids premarital or extramarital sex. Islam encourages marriage as a shield to such temptations and as a means of having mutual love, mercy and peace

There's no way that it could be wrong! In fact, it's wrong that they think it's wrong! If two people are in love and they want to, a piece of paper and a ring should make no difference whatsoever! Shoot, even if they're in love for a veeeery short time. I think it has more to do with the fact that ancient people didn't live as long as us, they had to get married, have kids and die very early.

It's called fornication. In the beginning it says God blessed them, and then He said be fruitful. This is were we as Christians got Holy Matrimony.Paul said that we could be of better service to the Lord if we remained unmarried, but if this would cause us to sin it would be better to marry. Not to mention the fact that keeping yourselves for that one special person who you plain to spend your life with would be a plus. Were not animals out of control.

I have no idea why it's considered wrong in some places in the world and some religions. In other places and religions it isn't given a second thought or even a first thought.
