When I had plaited extensions in my hair, I discovered that guys like them better than very short natural hair, but not as much as natural medium/long hair (of course).

As long as they look real and somewhat natural, ABSOLUTELY. I just got clip in extensions (from the Jessica Simpson/Ken Paves line) and my fiance absolutely goes nuts when I put them in. But, as a caveat, make sure you practice putting them in the correct way and make sure they match your hair color. Guys say they like "no makeup" and "natural" hair, but all that means is they want you to look amazing (which, as girls, we know that requires at least tinted moisturizer, lip gloss, and liner) without them knowing you are using anything fake. I love long hair. As long as it is done right and looks like your own hair, then yes I think most guys will like it.
