I'm leaning in this direction too. I think we should become more deadly and finish the fight before we rebuild Iraq's infrastructure. Maybe build and fight was a useful tactic before the beehive burst. We should let the Iraqi's rebuild and kill the fanatics first. If we use our resources correctly, then cannot another country train the Iraqi army while we rampage?

The problem is that the whole Iraq war has in fact created more insurgents than there were in the first place.

All that happened when they invaded is that they proved the terrorists right... America and the West is invading the Arab world and bullying Muslims. Now you and I know that isn't true but if you were living peacefully in a country with a leader that many other countries didn't like but you had a home, a family and a business and life was good wouldn't you be a bit P***ed off that someone bombed the **** out of it and then made you and your friends pay for rebuilding it?!

They need to help them run it on their own and pull out as much as possible as fast as possible so that they do not feel as if their country has been invaded but that it has been helped. The longer our troops are out there dying/killing the more hatred will grow.

The Greatest Dilemma the Wold has Faced since WW2 ,Even worse in reality, Leaving them to it will only leave the way clear for the Despots to continue with their development of Nuclear Weapons , As the whole Free World knows only to well the Maniacs who demand a world wide "Islamic State" and their insidious backers , Will have no compunction about using them . This truly is a desperate situation on a Global Scale , A Cancer which continues to threaten world stability , It seems that only a seriously concentrated effort by all free Nations to rid the world of this rotten filth from without and within our Countries is the only possible solution

You're right in what you in so far as the opposing forces should be sorted before we leave. The tricky part is achieving that when they have civilian support and and are not bound by articles of war.
Northern Ireland showed that if the opposition is determined and sustained, as it has been in Iraq, there's no chance of crushing it on a short deadline.
We need to stabilise the existing government, leave, and aid them with our intelligence forces because right now our troops are sitting ducks with no effective way of fighting back.

If the you want a solution to the crises in the Middle East. Lets leave them to it. Every one Americans, Brits, everybody that is not a native should pack up and leave. Reason being that they are blamed for the troubles in the Middle East anyway. Let them survive on their own for sometime. If it works out for them, good. If they destroy themselves in the process, too bad. The number of people that have already died is too much. Also as a percussion, Nobody with any connection from the region should be allowed into Europe and America. Those who are already here should be encouraged to return to their homes. Considering that they are not really happy with the life style in the west, they would be happy to leave. If its about oil. Please the Government should look for other source of power. Why should people continue to live in fear and die for nothing.

Although I also would like to see the whole place destroyed, I would have to say there are innocents there. I have seen the people that were over joyed at meeting me there. I have given them food from my ruck, I seen children cheering in the streets. I have seen children while deployed there that were not unlike our children here. I performed a magic trick with coins and they squeled with delight. I dont think we need to destroy a country, but we do need to root out the terrorist that mean to do our country harm. Leave the innocents to rule the country after.

I don't think you have thought through the problem. The English and the Americans invaded a sovereign nation who was not at war with them. Thepeople of the world have seen the invasion, have seen and witnessed the killing and dying of a very large number of Iraqi's. Also, we have caused the death of their own soldiers, Marines, Navel Seaman, Air Force personal and finally National Guardsmen. It is no small thing.
Now you are suggesting that we kill large numbers of people, by far mostly unarmed civilians with news organizations and private individuals taking pictures and bringing the atrocities associated to your suggestion out to the rest of the world.
In so doing this terrible thing to Iraqi's, we well have undermined our own sense of proper behavior in a war situation and marked us as mass murders.
If we do this, nothing that we say or do except by force and death well be believed by other citizens in the world. We will no longer seem like barbarians, we will be barbarians and the enemy of the whole world population.
Do you really want to put our children in that position?

I don't agree. The most efficient method is to remove the source of the problem. You cannot throw the baby out with the bathwater. To do other than this would clump us into the same uncivilized category as the radicalized Muslims who perverted the beliefs of the majority.

Middle east= International Safepark System. The worlds longest roller coasters, sand parks, camel rides....think of it.

But not realistic or sane to really do.

You can see right now in Iraq what Saddam's enemies are doing. They are hunting down and murdering all his supporters. This would happen to us if we attacked them like that.
