I heard that if you mix dog urine with tomato sauce and heat it for a few minutes in the microwave, it can ease the throat and eliminate a lot of coughing...has anyone done this?

Dude, get a grip. If you ingest that concoction, you'll need a heck of alot more than a cough to worry about. Here is a real solution to your problem.
Take 2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix them in 6-8 oz of very warm water. Sip this mixture like tea and repeat 3-4 times daily. This will alleviate the swelling and pain, while prompting the body to heal itself from within. It works. Best wishes.

Yuck! Wouldn't you rather just use Vicks 44 throat spray? I can't think that my throat would ever hurt bad enough to drink dog urine!!!

I doubt that it can be good for you. urine has chemicals that tend to make dieases worse. I think there is something about the fact that it's really acidic and so on...
