I DO! This guy wrote me the sweetest, most thoughtful note ever. The only problem is: it was FULL of grammatical/spelling errors. It makes it look almost like a child wrote it, and I was actually embarrassed for him. Of course, I'm not going to judge him off of it, but I really was like "woah, how old is he and he writes this way??"

Absolutely. But, as has already been pointed out, you've made a mistake in your question, as well.

Internet and email introduced a whole new set of relaxed standards for communication that allow for abbreviated ideas, words, and codes. I would imagine that within a few generations, our spelling and grammar will be greatly changed from what they are now.

Lots of people here can't write good english because that's not their native language. I could tolerate them. It's worse if the writter actually speak english as their first language. Maybe it's the new era of text messaging, ignorance of english, or too many cool slangs but I do agree that bad spelling/gramer questions are sometimes too hard for me to understand.

Yeah, when people have bad grammar... it kind of makes me look down on them a bit. But everyone makes mistakes and they may have just skimmed the sentence, not realizing they spelt something wrong. I don't mind chat speak like some people do... Bad spelling is okay, just as long as you type something decently sounding enough.

If there is 1 or 2 it doesn't bother me as much as if the entire thing is spelled wrong. On yahoo answers..if people would use spell check, it's much easier. That is why it is there..People are too lazy to use it.

There are too many examples of powerful self-publishing to count number. I recommend starting up with J.A. Konrath's blog, "you should self-submit" to commence. you'll locate a desirable remark by effectively printed author, Scott Nicholson: "i have said as classic publishing "the recent conceitedness publishing" because some writers see purely the phantasm of legitimacy." Take that as a bellwether. Writing is an artwork, yet publishing is a employer, and must be approached as such. construct a employer plan for your e book e book and promotion and marketing. that is going to take time and potential, yet there are diverse avenues to effectively marketplace your self-printed e book for virtually not something. Social media is an outstanding party. facebook, Twitter, YouTube, operating a blog. the genuine area is progression connections, not junk mail. locate your marketplace and attain out to them. grow to be occupied with your community and participate in activities the position you may promote your e book. Self-publishing presents you the flexibility to save 100% of your rights, 100% of your royalties, and 100% administration of your content. you received't locate that by a everyday settlement. recognize your objectives, study the game, and flow for it!
