Dude, I'm sorry. I have the same problem sometimes. Try and sort out the thing on your mind that you feel is the main reason for not sleeping. Do everything you can to work out that problem.
Next, an over-the-counter sleep aid can help, but after awhile your body seems to build up an immunity and it will have the opposite reaction you're looking for.
Maybe the problem is an over abundance of testosterone. Sometimes a sexual release will also help you sleep. The endorphins your body produces when you climax is a body's natural way to relax.
Other than that, I don't know. Whenever I can't sleep, it's usually one of those three that brings things back to order.

First of all, realize that there are some things that you can fix, and there are some things that you have no control over and therefore shouldn't worry or stress about them. Secondly, fix the things that you can. Thirdly, exercise.
Fourthly, talk to someone about this, as well as the other issues that concern you, and I don't mean with people online... talk to someone in person.
It almost sounds like your love struck. Just remember that love finds a way.
Good luck.

The only thing I do is read. It takes my mind off the other stuff for a while and I can sleep. The downside is that if I have time to read any other time of the day I get sleepy then too. Have you tried OTC sleeping aids like Sominex?

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

1.Avoid anything caffeine at least 3 hours before bedtime (that includes no smoking as well).
2.Do something that relaxes you before bedtime.
3.Drink a glass of warm lemon juice (pure and freshly squeezed)with or without honey, suit your taste.
4.Try go to bed at same time every night, especially on worknights.
5.Exercise at least twice a week (if your schedule is too hectic,
do it at work - for example: take the stairs instead of the lift if its only a few floors away, stretch your body often if your work involves long hours of standing or sitting, etc).

I have the same problem, I guess some people are just not sleepers. I do from time to time use over the counter sleeping pills. Sometimes they help, sometimes not. I don't use what you get from the Dr., they give me nightmares for some reason.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Stop drinking coffee, tea or anything which has a caffeine content. A glass of milk would help. Stop worrying on how to get a sleep (hahhahha). Seriously relax your mind....
