I've known good christians and good atheists. But I've never known a bad person who was an atheist.

've only known 5 really evil, bad people in my life. They were all fundies. (I'm talking beating-your-kid-on-Christmas-morning level of bad). Yes, if there was a hell, it would be for them. Instead, I watch them create their own hells on earth with their trails of broken relationships.

Many of the religious right leaders are but puppets of merchants. Duped and gullible. Not however are they traitors. There is a more important undercurrent that you are perhaps not aware that those in power use against the people. The south to this day practices a competitive posture that holds more weight than any sane issue. Many still are taught to hate Yanks and that they are the enemy. This is for the most part because of the reconstrution period.

If a Yank moves in amongst the sisters of the South, often he will be persectuted quietly, and behind his back by people who would vandalize a yanks vehcle in a way that may well cause injury. Pets are stolen and killed. Some say they are treated as if they have leprosy. This infection thrives among people who claim they are Christians. I was born there, I know this to be true but because I have traveled the world, I see it as foolishness and not the will of God. If you wish to unseat the power this right has done the way to do it is to come up with a solution to this hidden problem

no. i do not trust the far right Evangelical Fundy Christian zealots because they are some of the most selfish, self absorbed, self righteous and thoughtless people ever to run in herds on the planet. any group of people who desire the world destroyed simply for their own self aggrandizement are, beyond words, despicable. i don't believe in hell and i don't really care were such despicable Fundies go when they die just as long as i'm not stuck in the same eternity.

PS. to moderate Christians ... if the shoe doesn't fit don't wear it.

No I don't, too narrow minded, too dangerous for the world and lacking in useful beliefs. Did I forget hypocritical?

If I was religious I wouldn't condemn them to hell. I just wish God if he/she was real would visit them and tell them to stfu and grow the **** up.

No, I don't trust them and I hope so. In the divine comedy, people who ignore God's Mercy get their own special punishment in hell.

A politician is a politician. Some are just more motivated to "move forward" than others.

If you're not religious, then you don't believe in hell. Anyway, most extremists are so miserable, they live everyday in hell.
