I am a 16yo male, and I have alot of trouble sleeping. I feel really tired, but every time i try to get to sleep, my mind starts racing with, literally, millions of thoughts.

You know when you watch computer code go by on a screen, and you can only pick out like, 1 or 2 numbers here and there? Thats my mind. I have millions of thoughts going on, and I can only pick out 1 or 2 at a time. I can almost feel my brain turning in circles. This goes on all day, but its worse at night because I cant control which thoughts I pick up on.

I've been suffering from depression, paranoia, and possible anxiety and schizophrenia for about two years. Im off meds right now because I had an allergic reaction to the last ones.

All I want to do is get some sleep so I dont fall asleep in class tomorrow. I have to be up for school in 4 hours, but I just cant fall asleep. what should I do? Please help!

Take a slow, hot shower, then sit in a dim room and read a book. No bright lights.
That should make your eyes tired and you will be able to crash and sleep. Once you feel your eyes getting heavy don't find some last minute thing to do, go to bed and lay down.

Hope that helps.

Well! Let us make a small beginning to get you sleep. Before going to bed, sit on a spread on the floor facing east. Do breathing exercise for 5 months and then meditation for 5 minutes. In 7 days time you will get proper sleep.

Now when you sleep, your head should be either on the south side or east. This will avoid magnetic disturbance you may be facing now.

Do you may have this hindrance all the time? I most of the time best sleep below four hours an afternoon, which is not a hindrance for me. When individuals sleep at night time, they most of the time best get two-four hours of rewarding R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. The hindrance is that it most of the time takes 6-10 hours for so much individuals to get the ones two-four hours of R.E.M. I cross right into a R.E.M. state practically instantly, so I haven't any issues with feeling worn out afterwards. I truthfully HATE slumbering. It is the sort of waste of time. Think approximately it: for those who sleep eight hours an afternoon, while you flip 30, you have got slept for 10 years of your lifestyles!!! That is rediculous!!!!

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.
