if religion were in power it would be good? what planet are you from? when religion is in power mass murder was the norm, wars were fought because one group disagreed with another, kings did whatever they wanted because of the divine right of kings, people were burned at the stake becvause they were different, or knew somerthiong about nature, or were odf a different faith, or disagreed with the priest, or had a differen clor of eyes, or had shorter hair, or for no reason whatever than to satisfy the bloodlust of some moron who had a hat that said he was allowed to act like an animal.
oh, maybe you didn't know aboutthe beutiful religion and how they spread the "good news" of jesus christ through mass murder rape theivery and fraud. or did you, but just let it slip your memory?
