I was teaching a scripture class (year 6) and I asked the children to write down the answer to my question which was, If Jesus walked up to you in the street and asked if he could come home to your place for tea what would you say? Most wrote that they would invite him home but one girl wrote I would ask for ID first then if he was Jesus I would invite him home!

Great story. .. . .I started Catholic School in 3rd grade. Having attended Public School K-2nd grade, Going to a Catholic School was a new experience. Shortly after starting 3rd grade, I became confused about something, so I went to my mother and asked. .. . . " Hey mom, if we're Catholic and we go to a Catholic School. . . . .then Are people who go to Public School called Publics ?? SMILE. We still laugh about that one.

if u see jesus in the street most of u r gonna think that he is a taliban.
cos both of them have beard, both are from middle east, both wear long flowing loose clothes, both have some kind of head covering and no he is not white but dark skinned. So if u see jesus in the street , u probably gonna go crazy and try to kill the guy . AGAIN.

Uh, okay. I'm a Christian, too, but I think I'd want a little more than ID. Any crazy homeless man can go to a Kinko's and come out with a "Jesus Christ" ID card. I'd want a miracle at least.

Wise child.

While her head is on straight, she is still slightly misinformed. Only God the Father gives people the ability to recognize his Son. See John 6:44.

But I understand what you're saying...on so many levels.

Smart kid. Lots of people claim to be Jesus. Lots of crazy people. Not normal people.
