If she wants to get married in church then you are out of luck. My friend is a Christian and the gal that he wanted to marry is Jewish. They made a compromise by getting married outside of church. Ask her if you could talk to her parents. If her parents is not that reasonable then the decision is up to her.

Have you ever met her parents? Do they like you?
Does she and her parents know anything about what being a Hindu is?
Perhaps you can give her a book that explains your religion to read and share with her parents. Perhaps then they will allow things to work out once they have become more open-minded about it.

But, if they're still stubborn about it, the only recourse you would have is to end the relationship with her. Problems could develop and you don't need those.

People with different religions can marry and work things out, but it takes a lot of work and compromise with both people. Sometimes things don't work out.

Well, not much if she doesn't
agree with you. If she doesn't
agree with you now on such an
important level, it will not be any
better if you two get more serious
down the road. This is a sign of
roads again, should you throw
caution to the wind and decide
to go down that path anyway.

Ur in for a lot of trouble. If her parents havent agreed, then obviously u should try to convince them. But, first make sure that the girl loves u also.If she does love u then both of u can try and convince her parents. It will be a lot of hard work, and be prepared for a lot of tension and stress in ur family. Both of u need to be strong and ur love for each other should be strong enough to face any roadblocks.
All the best.

pricey pal : Very correct and eye-opener question certainly. yet, what i have self assurance is supremacy or superiority isn't determined through numbers or power although the inherent fee or that technique of an emblem in spite of its attractiveness between all. Supremacy is gauged through the intensity of the know-how which those symbols characterize for. Secondly, enable me take a diverse view on your declare that Hindu will not in any respect agree holy bypass etc. it isn't surely authentic as majority of Indian religious leaders and ashrams welcome both bypass and kabila (mecca). Sri Satya Sai Baba, Sri Sri Ravishanker, Swadhyay Pariwar, Mata Amritanand Mayi, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev etc etc. are ideal examples for solidarity in range. i'm of the view that, Hindu would have extra room and adequate cushion to attend to and settle for all major symbols yet not all philosophies of different religions compared to semitic and monothiest religions. throughout the time of historic previous, sensible and discriminating human beings of all lands have sought a truth that is everyday and everlasting. yet this has been the major quest not really of philosophers and mystics yet of absolutely everyone in life's extra profound moments. Deep interior ourselves all of us lengthy for an Absolute truth by which we may be able to go beyond suffering and shortage of life and benefit bliss and immortality. Many large thinkers, searching previous the names and sorts of the various religions and philosophies which have existed through historic previous, have looked for custom of understanding which reflects the everyday truth and helps human beings of each and every era to hook up with It. There will be solidarity on "truth" between all. My really detached perspectives with due appreciate to all differing ideologies and concepts.

You can straight away register your marriage and live together a happy life, provided both of you agree. Indifference of the parents will gradually be over and don't be bothered on that.

Leave her and find another from ur own community-----u will marry her today and she will not adjust with her because most of' them['u understood i blv] do not change their customs and dont adapt to others'.So be very selective when it come for ur future and a whole life---infatuation is momentary-love needs commitments and dedication , sacrifice from both partners-which is not shown by ur Gf-so don't go for her-u get life only once-dont waste for someone who don't care for other-rest is ur decision

religion is an important thing when getting married. if your a faithful hindu then what do you believe will happen to your christian wife in the hear after? its hard to mix religions, someone nearly always must compromise. would you leave your religion behind to take on hers? if not then would she? love is compromise, but compromising religion is very very hard to do. i can't even bring myself to take on my husband's religion and were are both christian!!
