i have no idea if he likes me as much as i like him. he told me about a couple months ago that he liked me, but i said something stupid in return and ever since then we've been hanging out and talking on the phone as "friends". he's the sweetest guy but we've never really talked about our feelings for each other. he told me over text message that he liked me.
what are the exact words i should say to him in person? please help! i plan to say it very soon.

Do not worry about exact words. Arrange to meet over coffee, in a park or somewhere. Tell him you meant to tell him you liked him a couple of months ago but the words didn't come out the way you wanted. Give him a list of his qualities or personality traits you olike about him. You are waaaay ahead of a lot of people who ask this. You already KNOW he likes you. He will be very happy when you tell him.
